Fluff & Puff with Joan Rivers
I was invited to be Joan Rivers stylist for her visit to Seattle on Friday.
A remarkable experience it was to connect with such an amazing and iconic woman. She was an absolute gem to work with!
I am truly inspired by the zest and hilariousness she encompasses through her perspective on life.
First stop was Barnes & Noble where I fluffed and puffed Joan before her book reading/signing. Off she went to Amazon and then the Triple Door for her comedy performances. Joining me for the evening’s adventures was Chrissy Wai-Ching of Wai-Ching Designs, gracing Joan’s wardrobe with expert care.
Joan shared a very nice compliment that she could tell I loved what I did by my energy and approach to what I do….”an artist with a passion for what I do best”. Wow, now that says a lot coming from the queen of timeless fashion and beauty!
That night I was reminded that laughter really is the best medicine in life. Thanks Joan and her manager, Graham, for an evening not to be forgotten!
